Hudak the right Leader for the Ontario PC Party: Bailey
Queen's Park-Bob Bailey, MPP for Sarnia-Lambton announced today that he is supporting Tim Hudak, MPP for Niagara West-Glanbrook to be the next Leader of the Ontario PC Party.
"This leadership is about the next provincial election and what it will take to be Premier", said Bailey. "Tim has the energy, experience, and ideas, to lead our party and our province out of recession and towards a brighter future. It is time to get Ontario working."
"Tim is the only candidate who will unite and energize our party behind a winning conservative plan", added Bailey. "It is only with a united, energized, and organized PC Party that we will defeat Dalton McGuinty, and get Ontario working."
"To lead Ontario back to prosperity, we need principled, thoughtful ideas and determined leadership. When our party has offered a clear, honest, and conservative vision we're rewarded by voters. This is because the conservative principles that unite and motivate us also reflect the values of Ontario families."
The Ontario PC Party will choose a new Leader in Markham on June 27.
